The ITERSS project (Inclusive Tertiary Education for Refugees in Southern Switzerland) has been selected by swissuniversities within the framework of the second call of the Equity program for the period 2025–2028.
SUPSI’s international activities continue to grow, offering students opportunities for direct engagement with diverse academic and cultural environments. Among the most significant collaborations is the one with Penn State University, which for the past five years has involved the Bachelor’s programme in Computer Engineering in a joint spring project dedicated to developing global, digital and intercultural competences.
From 30 to 31 October 2025, the SUPSI East Campus in Lugano-Viganello hosted the IRUAS 2025 conference, titled “AI without borders: redefining internationality in the digital age”. The event, organised by the International Office, offered an extraordinary opportunity for reflection and discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in the transformation of academic institutions and international mobility practices.
From September 8 to 12, 2025, Team International participated in the EAIE conference, a key European event for international higher education, promoting cooperation, exchange, and global networks.
