Competence centre Climate Change and Territory (CCCT)
The Competence centre Climate Change and Territory transversally coordinates all interdisciplinary skills and activities associated with applied research, undergraduate and graduate studies and continuing education and service provision in the field of climate change.
This page brings together some relevant information and presents it in a summarised manner. Detailed information on the Competence centre Climate Change and Territory is available by visiting the Centre's website.
The Centre involves 50 researchers active in three macro areas of expertise.
Analysis of geological, biological and historical sources for the development of climate predictive models.
Climate change adaptation
Study of ways to protect against natural hazards and the health of ecosystems, especially aquatic ones.
Climate change mitigation
Study of the most appropriate ways to transition to a low-carbon society.
In order to actively contribute to responding to the growing challenges posed by global climate change, the Department of Environment, Constructions and Design established the Competence centre Climate Change and Territory in 2022.
